Returns & Refunds
All in-person sales are final.
For items ordered through our website, you may return most* new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Please note all returns will have a restocking fee of 15% of the original item price may apply, which will be deducted from the amount refunded to the original payment method. A restocking fee will not be charged if you select store credit. Return shipping will be paid for by the customer regardless of refund method.
You should expect to receive your refund within 30 business days of returning your package. This period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
*Made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned unless the item is damaged/defective. Please refer to the “Made to Order Items” section of our policy for more information.
Cancellations & Changes
Please note that made-to-order items cannot be canceled or changed once in production. If you would like to cancel, change, or update your order please email us as soon as possible. In the subject line put "CANCEL" or "UPDATE" followed by your order number and include your desired change in the body of the email. We can't change or cancel an order that is already in production or has already shipped. We do not retroactively apply sales or promotions to orders that have already been made.
Exchanges
CENTRO does not offer exchanges on made-to-order items. If you would like to process an exchange for other items, please submit a return request (please review the store policy above) and select store credit. Once the item is received, store credit will be issued. You can then place a new order with your store credit.
Damage, Incorrect & Defective Orders
Please email centrost@hunter.cuny.edu with your full name and order # in the subject line within 14 days of delivery. Please attach photos of the damaged/defective item and photos of the package the item was shipped in. Please allow our team up to 7-10 business days to review the request. If upon review, it is determined that the item was incorrect, damaged, or defective, we will send a replacement at no cost to the customer.
Shipping
At the moment, we offer free shipping on most orders. We only ship within the US, including U.S. Territories. We do not offer international shipping but some of our books may be found through Amazon.
If an order is returned to us due to an invalid address being provided, a refund of the product price only will be issued minus a fee of $15% of the original item price for restocking. CENTRO & La Bodega are not responsible for items that have been misdelivered or stolen.
Made-to-Order Items
All Made to Order items are final sale. Since products are only printed once ordered, returns and exchanges are not supported. Please note that CENTRO and La Bodega will not be held responsible and will not offer replacements or refunds if the customer ordered the wrong size or color.
Promotions & Sales
We typically offer promotions around Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday. Promotions & Sales cannot be retroactively applied. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
